The vineyards, with about 17 hectares listed as DOCG Chianti Classico, represent our largest crop.
Our vineyards are located in three distinct areas.
Every area has land with very different soil characteristics, with specific vines and clones which allow us to obtain grapes with marked organoleptic differences and to choose the best grapes every year based on climatic conditions for creating our selected wines. Winemaking takes place at our Cooperative Cellar Castelli del Grevepesa, where we were one of the founding members! Membership in this big family gives us the chance to use the most modern techniques of winemaking, ageing, bottling and selling our wines. Our annual production is about 100,000 kg of grapes and the main varieties we grow in our vineyards are the following: Sangiovese (about 80%), Canaiolo, Colorino, Merlot, Cabernet, Sirah, for red wines and Trebbiano and Malvasia for our white wines and Vinsanto.
